Job Title: CDL Drivers Class A

Austin Bridge & Road is seeking experienced CDL Drivers Class A to join our team. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment and hauling materials to construction sites.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily equipment maintenance and inspections to ensure safe operation.
  • Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Participate as a vital team member, contributing to the success of Austin Bridge & Road.
  • Attend daily safety meetings and follow safety protocols.
  • Work hours adjusted to meet project needs, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • Able to work in adverse weather conditions and hot or cold temperatures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • At least 12 months of relevant driving experience in the construction industry.
  • Strong commitment to jobsite safety.
  • Thorough operational knowledge and skills of trucks and related equipment, including end dump, belly dump, tandem, flow boy, or super dump experience.
  • Experience with off-highway driving in construction sites.
  • Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check, as well as maintain a current State-issued Class A/B driver's license.
  • Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations, and adherence to safety requirements and procedures.
  • MVR record must meet company and DOT standards.
  • Familiarity with securing heavy and/or oversized loads.
