Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate reimbursement processes by collecting and verifying patient demographic and insurance information.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and federal patient signature requirements.
- Manage patient registration systems, making updates as necessary.
- Create and maintain medical records to support patient care.
- Welcome patients warmly upon their arrival for services.
- Collect co-payments and pre-payments, ensuring timely patient arrival to clinical areas.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma is mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment or equivalent education.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and third-party payer protocols is essential.
- Proven track record in customer service and patient care.
- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills are required.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems effectively throughout the workday.
- Availability to work the specified evening shift is necessary.
