We value your expertise and knowledgeJob Summary and QualificationsAs a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional, patient-centered care in accordance with departmental requirements and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty.

Collaborating with medical professionals and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, adhering to established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will also serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.

- Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to the medicationProvide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving themEducate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminologyWhat qualifications you will need:

Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of NevadaGraduate of Accredited School of NursingBSN preferredCurrent acute clinical care experience preferredCurrent BLSACLS required upon hire or within 90 days upon transferSunrise Hospital & Medical Center provides Las Vegas and the Southwest region with high-quality, advanced healthcare services.
