Key Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering both direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process: Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
- Collaborating with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Communicating any changes in patients' clinical conditions to Physicians, Nursing Supervisors/Managers, and colleagues as necessary.
- Participating actively in the discharge planning process.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:
- A degree from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing program or an Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- BCLS certification is mandatory; ACLS certification is preferred.
- A minimum of six months of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Medical/Surgical acute care setting is preferred.
