Position Summary

We are seeking a Clinical Infusion Specialist (LPN) to become a vital part of our expanding team. This role is an onsite, PRN position.

The Clinical Infusion Specialist is responsible for executing critical trial-related procedures and making significant trial-related decisions as directed by the Principal Investigator (PI). This role is integral to the handling of Investigational Products and plays a crucial part in the research process. Key responsibilities include the accurate dispensing and dosing of Investigational Products, gathering information from study participants in accordance with protocols, and ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of research participants. Additionally, the Clinical Infusion Specialist may serve as the study coordinator for select trials.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting activities related to Investigational Products, including handling, administration, and inventory management.
  • Providing patient consultations and education in an outpatient environment under the supervision of the overseeing physician.
  • Reviewing and adhering to the assigned research study protocol.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and completing source documents promptly.
  • Ensuring all clinical activities comply with established research protocols and standards, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedural requirements.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members and Sponsor/CRO/Vendor associates.
  • Communicating effectively with participants and their partners/informants/caregivers.
  • Participating in all required training programs and ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Completing necessary training and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training as mandated.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program.
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Licensure in the state of employment.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in performing infusions.
Compensation

This position offers a competitive compensation range of $25.00-$30.00 per hour.
