Job Description

Executive Position in Sales and Business Development

Bauers Intelligent Transportation Inc. is seeking an experienced Executive Vice President of Sales and Business Development to join our successful sales team in the transportation industry. As a leader in luxury bus and shuttle service, we are committed to exceptional, environmentally conscious service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a strategy to grow long-term business, achieve assigned sales goals, and revenue targets.
  2. Lead the team in new business development through prospecting activities, leveraging personal leads and existing relationships.
  3. Maintain and create relationships with long-term customers.
  4. Identify new lead development resources and opportunities.
  5. Monitor and expand existing accounts.
  6. Coordinate and manage assigned accounts processes.
  7. Oversee contracting and billing for Enterprise-Level Management (ELM) clients.
  8. Ensure compliance with sales flow through Salesforce CRM.
  9. Standardize written proposals and sales presentations.
  10. Lead project teams to produce valuable program solutions for clients based on their requirements.
  11. Ensure all proposals and correspondence meet client needs and budgets.
  12. The nature of our industry requires working nights and weekends, with some travel involved.
  13. Monitor programs from beginning to end, including on-site activities.

Qualifications:

  1. Two years of experience in the transportation industry is required.
  2. Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of the company's products and services.
  3. Possesses knowledge of competitive products and markets.
  4. Exhibits strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  5. Demonstrates ability to think creatively.
  6. Exhibits awareness of best sales practices and methods.
  7. Works well with a team.
  8. Demonstrates patience with reluctant or frustrated clients.
  9. Exhibits familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  10. Communicates clearly and effectively.
  11. Possesses strong persuasive abilities.
  12. Demonstrates solid motivational and leadership skills.
  13. Can conduct independent research.
  14. Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
