Job Summary
- Under general supervision, formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding in the development or modifications of moderately complex information systems.
- Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
- Security needs, and implements procedures to accommodate them.
- Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and document as necessary.
- Competent to work on most phases of applications systems analysis activities but requires instruction and guidance in other phases.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement information systems to meet government customer needs.
- Conduct research and fact-finding to define system scope and objectives.
- Prepare detailed specifications for program development.
- Implement security procedures to ensure system integrity.
- Analyze and revise existing system logic to improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience for an Associate level position.
- Active DOD clearance.
- Certification: SEC+ CE.
Physical and Mental Qualifications
- Ability to maintain awareness during scheduled working hours.
- Prolonged periods sitting or standing at desk and working on a computer.
- Able to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to execute tasks independently and work as a team.
- Strong organizational, grammar, business correspondence, and self-management skills.
