Role Overview:

The Senior Analyst for IT Systems Configuration and Programming plays a pivotal role in collaborating with stakeholders, including clients, business analysts, team members, and vendors, to ensure comprehensive life-cycle management of technical solutions and software applications that align with organizational standards and requirements.


Application and Service Management:

Oversee the management of designated software platforms and applications throughout their life cycle, adhering to established policies, standards, and best practices. Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring application performance, integrity, and security.
  • Planning, installing, configuring, and maintaining production and non-production environments.
  • Keeping software versions current through timely upgrades and patches.
  • Implementing testing and validation processes to ensure application stability.
  • Maintaining documentation such as Service Level Agreements and Run Books in collaboration with OIT colleagues.
  • Coordinating resources necessary for application support, including servers, network, and security.
  • Utilizing financial metrics related to software operations as part of strategic planning.

Incident Response and Support:

Address and resolve issues reported by customers, collaborating with vendors to rectify software defects and manage user expectations effectively.


Communication and Collaboration:

Facilitate project communication among stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of project objectives and outcomes. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Providing support to team members in application management.
  • Managing vendor relationships and overseeing the vendor selection process.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and performing other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree in computing or information systems is required, along with:

  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in computing systems management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five or more years of related experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Relational Databases, project management, and relevant certifications.
