Receptionist - Front Office Coordinator

About the Position:

YAI is seeking a highly skilled and organized Receptionist to join our team. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and will be responsible for managing the front office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate party and office
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
  • Answer phone calls in a timely manner and direct calls to the correct office
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via email
  • Create and manage digital and hard copy filing systems for the Office Manager and Vocational Supervisor(s)
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries
  • Keep inventory of office supply stock
  • Assist with collating items for fundraising events
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as receiving and distributing faxes, ensuring copiers are stocked daily, photocopying, and typing correspondence as needed

Requirements:

  • High School degree (or equivalent) required; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role
  • Customer service skills and professional phone manner
