About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at CEVA Logistics. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Guam station, ensuring that all departments and staff execute service agreements at or above customer standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all station functions to maximize profitability through superior customer service, effective communication, and follow-up on all pending matters with the customer.
  • Provide daily guidance, leadership, and support to managers on operations, communication, human resources, revenue enhancement, standardizing procedures, and systems applications.
  • Ensure freight is expedited in a safe and timely manner, and that the station facility provides a clean, professional, and safe working environment for all employees.
  • Review analysis of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine progress toward stated business development goals and objectives.
  • Oversee business development, sales, and marketing, and new account development to ensure maximum transportation revenue is generated for the station.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years of supervisory or management experience, and 4 years of industry experience preferred.
  • Valid state-issued Driver's License and Forklift Driver Certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based, and job-specific software applications supporting the supply chain or transportation industry.
