Business Development Specialist

Business Development Role Overview
As a key member of the Constellis team, this position is responsible for supporting the business development, capture, and proposal team in various federal, state, and commercial market segments. The Business Development Analyst will conduct in-depth research, collect data, and analyze information to support capture and overall business development activities, contributing to new business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage budgets, perform analysis, and maintain forecast
- Identify and research new business opportunities using FBO, GovWin IQ, FPDS, and other databases
- Conduct research or internal fact-finding for requested materials relevant to subject matter areas
- Support consultant due diligence, onboarding, invoice processing, and compliance activities
- Assist with preparation of responses to sources sought and RFI requests, past performance, and other technical writing assignments
- Provide overall administrative support to the Business Development department
Requirements
- S. diploma required and Bachelor degree desired
- ~1-3 years federal government contracting a plus, will consider entry level for the right candidate
- ~ Experience with Salesforce, GovWin IQ, Deltek T&E, SAP Concur, and FPDS a plus
- ~ Understanding of federal acquisition, business development, capture and proposal cycle a plus
- ~ Excellent technical writing and formatting skills
- ~ Computer proficient and experienced with the full Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce CRM

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday standard core hours, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
