JOB SUMMARY
Oversees the comprehensive execution of events, encompassing planning, daily coordination, and post-event strategies. Acts as a meeting planning advocate and liaison to all operational departments. Ensures on-site delivery of hotel products and services aligns with conference group plans, fostering a positive meeting experience. Utilizes software tools for the generation of essential program documents. Provides clients with updates on event statuses and coordinates necessary adjustments.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Directs the execution of all event-related activities, including planning and daily coordination.
  • Serves as the primary liaison between meeting planners and operational departments.
  • Facilitates coordination of convention group plans and catering requirements with relevant departments.
  • Ensures the on-site delivery of hotel services meets the expectations set in conference group plans.
  • Employs software for creating necessary documentation, including reports and event orders.
  • Communicates current event statuses to clients, addressing any pending items and coordinating changes as needed.
  • Maintains knowledge of program details by participating in planning meetings and reviewing relevant documents.
  • Collaborates with the conference planning team to identify and resolve issues.
  • Attends planning visits and internal meetings related to event logistics.
  • Proactively addresses potential issues related to meeting setups.
  • Utilizes available resources to fulfill client requests and resolve issues.
  • Ensures that room specifications such as lighting, temperature, and AV equipment meet client expectations.

PROVIDING EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE
  • Delivers outstanding customer service throughout the event experience and encourages similar standards among team members.
  • Coordinates and communicates event details effectively to clients and property operations.
  • Addresses and resolves guest issues and complaints promptly.
  • Utilizes personal judgment and expertise to enhance the client experience.
  • Remains accessible to resolve problems and suggest alternatives as necessary.
  • Continuously seeks to improve customer service by integrating feedback into action plans.

The hourly pay range for this position is competitive.
