A prominent client is seeking to enhance their innovative IT workforce by adding a knowledgeable Senior Systems Engineer. This role requires a commitment to on-site collaboration and teamwork on various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise projects, systems, and challenges of diverse complexity associated with IT systems planning, configuration, and enhancement.
  • Participate in infrastructure strategy, architecture development, and engineering tasks.
  • Administer both Windows and Linux Server Operating Systems.
  • Oversee virtualization technologies including VMware, ESXi, and vSphere.
  • Manage the complete suite of M365 and Azure services.
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network systems from Cisco and Fortinet.
  • Deploy and oversee workloads within the Azure cloud environment.
  • Handle escalation tickets for infrastructure-related challenges, including system outages.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation as necessary.
  • Collaborate with leadership across various business functions to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Support, implement, and remain informed about Cyber Security best practices and systems.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive expertise in Windows system administration utilizing PowerShell (AD, DNS, WSUS, SCCM, group policy, Intune, ATP).
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure solutions.
  • Experience with enterprise-grade firewalls from Cisco and Fortinet.
  • Strong grasp of network design and protocols.
  • Expertise in VMware-based virtualization technologies.
  • Proficient in scripting with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Bash, Python, or similar languages.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to new technologies.
