As a Senior Process Engineer, you will engage with a diverse group of professionals in engineering, environmental science, and water management. Your role will involve:
- Networking effectively to enhance project execution and business development.
- Leading process evaluations and design initiatives.
- Assessing and selecting systems or products tailored to project requirements.
- Conducting calculations, preparing design sketches, and engaging in fieldwork.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development efforts by collaborating with colleagues to secure project wins and foster enduring client relationships. Key tasks include:
- Participating in proposal development teams.
- Engaging with clients through meetings and presentations.
- Creating scope of work documents and estimates.
- Collaborating across various business lines to identify opportunities.
- Conducting quality reviews.
- Execute complex engineering design tasks for water, power, and industrial process projects by collaborating with various technical disciplines. Typical tasks include:
- Developing design basis documents.
- Performing engineering calculations.
- Creating engineering drawings and reports.
- Conducting feasibility studies.
- Presenting findings to clients and stakeholders.
- Assist project managers in defining and managing project scope, budget, staffing, and timelines.
- Lead the development of project specifications and ensure quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Engage in the permitting process, coordinating with clients and regulatory agencies.
- Mentor junior staff and manage high-performing project teams.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to perform hydraulic calculations and mass & energy balances.
- Proficient in developing piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and project documentation processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other engineering software.
- PE license is required.
Education and Experience
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil/Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution is required, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, including operational experience, is essential.
