Position Overview
As a Senior Electrical Engineering Lead, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of electrical systems for various industrial applications. Your expertise will guide the creation of essential documentation and specifications, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Single Line Diagrams, Schematics, and Wiring Diagrams.
- Manage resources effectively and plan project timelines.
- Ensure quality control of all deliverables within the electrical scope.
- Collaborate with Project Management and Clients, and coordinate with other project disciplines.
- Prepare detailed Electrical Equipment Specifications, Data Sheets, and Purchase Requisitions for various electrical equipment including Paper Machine Drives, Switchgear, and Transformers.

Vendor Interaction
- Review vendor documentation and assist in preparing power system cost estimates.
- Define scopes of work for project design and study proposals.
- Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, customers, and internal service providers.

Team Collaboration
- Work alongside electrical engineers, technologists, and designers to deliver comprehensive electrical designs and documentation for a range of projects.
- Prepare electrical designs, calculations, and bills of material.

Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Professional Engineer with 10 to 25 years of experience in Power Systems design for Heavy Industrial Installations.
- Experience in power design for Power Plants, Pulp and Paper Mills, Chemical Plants, Cement Plants, or Cogen Plants is preferred.
- Previous consulting engineering experience in North America is essential.

Technical Skills
- Proficient in Electrical System design, System Studies, Relay Coordination, and Protection & Control.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in North American Electrical power and process industries is required.
- Experience in heavy industrial or chemical plant power systems is advantageous.

Personal Attributes
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Capable of working independently or with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
- Good organizational, writing, presentation, and communication skills are essential.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% is expected.
