Job Overview

As the Program Manager for Technical Operations at WAVSYS, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our team meets its commitments while maintaining close alignment with stakeholders and vendor partners. Your focus will be on driving operational excellence and ensuring our support ecosystem operates seamlessly.

Reporting to the Global Lead of Content Operations, you will aid in the integration of our globally distributed operational teams, fostering an environment that encourages adherence to central standards and collaboration to support content creators worldwide. Your innovative approach will streamline communication processes, ensuring efficient coverage and smooth information transfer.

Your ability to cultivate strong relationships with partners, vendors, and internal teams, along with your technical proficiency, will be essential in navigating challenges and positioning WAVSYS as a leader in content operations. Your enthusiasm for integrating media technologies and your forward-thinking mindset will guide the ongoing development of our platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee core operational practices and communication standards for the Technical Operations team, promoting a cohesive approach that leverages our global presence.
  • Manage the knowledge base and ticketing systems; ensure content is current and that tickets are addressed within service level agreements.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and clear milestones; establish rituals for tracking projects and prioritizing workflows that align with stakeholder needs.
  • Support the global content platform, fostering a culture of collaboration and user-centric thinking across our operations.
  • Implement processes to guarantee that our team and partners consistently meet their service level agreements.
  • Lead projects for integrating new technologies and workflows into our platform, focusing on continuous improvement of our services.
  • Build strong relationships with technical teams, gaining a deep understanding of standards and methods for technology deployment.
  • Set benchmarks for documentation and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management within Media/Digital Asset Management, Cloud, and On-Premise deployments.
  • Proven expertise in managing daily operations with vendors and support providers, ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
  • Extensive experience with globally distributed technology stacks and teams, particularly in infrastructure and engineering.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various management levels.
  • Proficient in creating detailed technical documentation and user guides.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in taking initiative.
  • Strong knowledge of SOAP, REST, JMS, and PUB/SUB patterns, as well as Java SE, Java EE, XML technologies.
  • Expertise in Notion, AirTable, and Tableau.
  • Passionate about exploring innovative technologies and solutions in the Esports domain.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in at least one additional language being advantageous.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with integrations between Media Asset Management, Digital Asset Management, and Content Management Systems.
  • Strong familiarity with AWS solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging streaming media technologies.
  • Experience with the Iconik Media Management system.
  • Proven experience leading complex projects involving multiple teams.
