Position Summary

Roncelli, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Concrete Estimator and Project Manager with a minimum of five (5) years of industry experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive estimating services, competitive bidding proposals, contract management, conceptual estimates, and identifying value engineering opportunities within self-perform concrete construction projects. This role includes managing self-perform projects from the bidding phase through project planning and scheduling, ensuring the entire concrete installation process is executed effectively through to project close-out, which encompasses safety, financial oversight, document management, subcontractor coordination, site support, owner relations, and scheduling.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in the construction sector.
  • Certifications: CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30, Certified Storm Water Operator, and Drug Tested.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and estimating, particularly in concrete-related projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of concrete construction methods, materials, and techniques.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera).
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking capabilities.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively motivate and manage project teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Aptitude for analyzing complex issues, developing innovative solutions, and making informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed cost estimates for concrete projects, accounting for materials, labor, equipment, and overhead.
  • Work closely with project stakeholders to clarify project requirements, objectives, and timelines.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring all deadlines and milestones are achieved.
  • Source necessary materials and equipment, negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Oversee project budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving strategies where feasible.
  • Ensure project execution aligns with specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate efforts with subcontractors, vendors, and other team members to facilitate smooth project progress.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges that could affect project delivery.
  • Conduct evaluations post-project to assess performance, identify improvement areas, and apply lessons learned to future projects.
