Position Summary

Roncelli, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Concrete Estimator and Project Manager with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive estimating services, preparing competitive bid proposals, issuing contracts, and identifying value engineering opportunities for self-performed concrete construction projects. This role includes managing the entire project lifecycle, from the bidding process and project planning to the scheduling and close-out phases, ensuring adherence to safety, financial, and documentation standards.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in construction, specifically in estimating and project management.
  • Certifications: CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30, Certified Storm Water Operator, and Drug Tested.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management and estimating, particularly in concrete construction.
  • In-depth knowledge of concrete construction methods, materials, and techniques.
  • Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera).
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong leadership skills with the capability to motivate and manage project teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Adept at analyzing complex issues, developing innovative solutions, and making informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in construction.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for concrete projects, factoring in materials, labor, equipment, and overhead.
  • Engage with project stakeholders to clarify project requirements, objectives, and timelines.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring adherence to milestones and deadlines.
  • Source and procure necessary materials and equipment, negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Oversee project budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving strategies.
  • Ensure project execution aligns with specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and project teams to facilitate smooth project progress.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks that could affect project delivery.
  • Conduct evaluations post-project to assess performance and implement improvements for future initiatives.
