Position Overview:

ManTech's Federal Civilian sector is in search of a proactive and driven Business Development Specialist with a focus on the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This role can be performed remotely or at our headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Health and VA-focused teams to leverage strengths and identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Conduct market research to understand trends and convert customer insights into effective capture strategies.
  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of proposal documents, participating in color reviews for submission readiness.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of ManTech's capabilities and objectives to design innovative growth strategies.
  • Build and nurture relationships with industry partners to facilitate collaboration and pursue Federal Civilian contracts.
  • Utilize effective communication and presentation skills to convey proposals and strategies clearly.
  • Input sales data into the company’s growth CRM tool.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Capture, or Proposal Management.
  • Experience in the Federal Health market, particularly with VA-focused initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success in managing the business development lifecycle from opportunity identification to closing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in the Shipley Business Acquisition Process.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic, cross-functional team environment.
  • Proficiency in using electronic productivity tools such as Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, and Salesforce.

Clearance Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Citizen; no clearance required.

Physical Requirements:

Frequent communication with colleagues and clients, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to operate a computer and other IT peripherals effectively.

Compensation:

The projected compensation range for this position is competitive and based on various factors including experience, skills, and geographic location.
