Job Description

Fire Equipment Inc. is a leading provider of life safety solutions in the New England area. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their safety and well-being.

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Coordinator to join our team. As a Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for scheduling and dispatching field labor forces to meet customer requests and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and dispatch field labor forces to meet customer requests and expectations
  • Ensure all service requests and dispatches are well documented, coordinated, prioritized, and organized
  • Utilize and maintain an electronic scheduling program
  • Review, process, and distribute all service documentation
  • Respond to customer requests for information or assistance
  • Proactively follow-up with customers after completion of service visits

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years scheduling experience, experience scheduling technicians highly preferred
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong communication skills
  • Present a pleasant and professional demeanor when communicating with customers
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must be able to prioritize existing workload while handling emergency requests
