KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
:

1.

Establish and nurture strategic relationships with clients, gaining a comprehensive understanding of their business to provide tailored analyses and recommendations that address specific needs, ensuring prompt and accurate communication.

2. Manage all claims within the upper and Jumbo segments with minimal oversight.
3. Strengthen McGriff Insurance Services Inc.'s connections with key clients and support the management of carrier-provided claim adjustment services.
4. Verify coverage and effectively oversee claims to achieve favorable results for assigned clients.
5. Demonstrate the ability to create clear and thorough written responses to reservation of rights letters and coverage denials.
6. Deliver educational presentations to both internal teams and external clients regarding various policies, coverages, risk management topics, and emerging risks.
7. Assist the Claim Manager by mentoring and developing internal consultants.
8.

Conduct analyses for clients in areas such as:

9. Communicate effectively with clients and service teams to maintain the highest level of client satisfaction with McGriff.
10. Engage in the development and evaluation of service plans.
11. Identify and pursue suitable business development opportunities with both new and existing clients.
12. Stay informed about insurance and risk management-related technical advancements and claim trends, ensuring that client analyses reflect the best current practices.
13. Support sales and marketing initiatives related to account renewals and new business opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
2. A minimum of ten years of experience in a claims adjusting role or as a broker in claims consulting
3. Possession of an Insurance Adjuster's License and compliance with local licensing requirements
4. Experience with multi-line claims
5. Comprehensive understanding of claims best practices and the ability to interpret complex policies and insurance contracts
6. Proficiency in applying relevant computer and communication technologies
7. Exceptional writing skills to articulate and clarify complex issues and concepts
8. Strong deductive reasoning and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Background in insurance carrier underwriting
2. Ongoing education and participation in professional associations to remain current on insurance claims matters
3. Previous experience in brokerage
4. Designation as Associate in Risk Management (ARM) or Associate in Claims (AIC)
