About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Writer to join our team at UnitedHealthcare. As a Proposal Writer, you will play a critical role in developing compelling proposals that showcase our company's expertise and value proposition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and write high-quality proposals that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders
  • Conduct research and gather information to create a strong value proposition and market position
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated proposal
  • Utilize sales support tools and databases to gather information and create a compelling narrative
  • Anticipate and understand the unique needs of our sales partners and develop strong working relationships
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in proposal writing, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and online formats
  • Intense customer focus and ability to adapt style and approach to customer preferences
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Qvidian database software or similar software
  • Skills in written communication and interpersonal relationships
  • Solid focus on quality and ability to work independently
