Mechanics Bank is seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, repairs, and renovations of our bank facilities. This role will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, conducting facilities inspections, and coordinating projects such as office remodels and moves.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee bank facilities, conduct regular facilities preventive maintenance & safety inspections.
- Manage vendor relationships, including communicating, scheduling, and providing direction to vendors with job specifications related to bank facilities.
- Manage or support management of projects such as office remodels, moves, closures, new facilities, and other bank facility projects as assigned.
- Perform periodic site inspections and update Facilities vendor records, validate costs, and verify and approve invoices.
- Act as primary liaison between vendors, bank staff, and management on issues related to facilities.
- Obtain competitive bids for services and inspect and validate quality of work performed.
- Oversee vendor service agreements and proposals.
- Coordinate opening/closing of bank facility utilities.
- Assist with various administrative tasks, including but not limited to lease administration, invoice validation, floor and seating plans reconfiguration.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience or High School Diploma/GED.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in facilities, property management, or building operations required.
- Proficient with MS Office and Internet.
- Possess excellent human relations, communications, and business writing skills.
- Possess effective time management and organizational skills.
- Able to cope with pressure resulting from meeting required deadlines and reporting requirements.
- Demonstrate teamwork in facilitating workflow. High level of cooperation with others and responsive to the Bank's needs.
- Exemplary motivation, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
- High level of accuracy and great attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to make and support sound decisions.
- Consistently demonstrate tact, discretion, and good judgment.

Competitive salary range: $70,000 - $92,000 annually. Final compensation package will be determined by the work experience, education, and/or skill level of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.
