Respiratory Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Houston Methodist Continuing Care Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and delivering high-quality respiratory services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine respiratory care procedures, including preparation, administration, and monitoring of medication and treatment modalities.
- Provide ventilator support and implement, monitor, and evaluate respiratory care plans.
- Conduct diagnostic testing of the cardiac respiratory system, as appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide direct assistance with respiratory care-related procedures.
- Deliver exceptional patient care and adhere to standards and guidelines established by respiratory and regulatory agencies.
- Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below.
- One year experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner preferred.
- Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC) and Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner - State Licensure.
- Basic Life Support (AHA) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA) certifications.
