As a Front Office Agent, you will engage in a range of guest service tasks, delivering an exceptionally warm, professional, and efficient experience in line with the expectations of a premier hotel. Responsibilities include registering guests, allocating rooms, managing guest accounts, and collaborating with various departments to fulfill guest needs. This role is dynamic, diverse, and provides the chance to work flexible hours while meeting a variety of new individuals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and register guests with outstanding friendliness and professionalism, ensuring all special requests are met
  • Collect necessary credit and payment details from guests
  • Facilitate check cashing and foreign currency exchange for hotel patrons
  • Work with other hotel departments to fulfill guest requests
  • Offer comprehensive information regarding hotel amenities and operating hours
  • Strictly adhere to all Loews Hotels Star Service Standards
  • Promote room sales in accordance with Front Desk sales strategies
  • Receive and relay guest messages
  • Conduct check-out and cash handling in compliance with hotel cashiering and credit policies
  • Distribute and oversee the completion of guest satisfaction survey cards during check-out
  • Review Group Profiles and Banquet Event details daily
  • Maintain cleanliness and optimal condition of work areas and equipment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Ensure the Front Desk area is kept clean and well-maintained
  • Keep adequate stock of all supplies in the Front Office
  • Implement emergency procedures according to hotel standards
  • Alert relevant individuals and departments of any significant issues or unusual occurrences
  • Participate in all relevant hotel meetings and training sessions
  • Exhibit politeness, friendliness, and helpfulness towards guests, colleagues, and management
  • Foster and apply teamwork skills consistently
  • Comply with all hotel standards, policies, and regulations
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures
  • Stay informed about hotel information and updates
Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities, and be able to demonstrate their capability to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation:
  • General understanding of hotel operations
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong guest service abilities
  • Familiarity with property management software
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Must be capable of standing for an eight-hour shift
