Job Overview

In this role, you will play a key part in managing and enhancing our quality assurance program. You will utilize established methodologies to assess performance and design processes that ensure consistent quality excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the quality management system, ensuring compliance with CAPA, training, internal audits, and documentation development.
  • Develop sustainable corrective actions to minimize the recurrence of non-conformance and establish inspection criteria to evaluate process reliability and sustainability.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of quality performance using statistical and analytical tools.
  • Implement inspection methods to assess the reliability and accuracy of processes.
  • Apply effective techniques to uphold and enhance quality standards throughout the production cycle.
  • Create and maintain quality procedures and systems for monitoring quality trends.
  • Ensure that process control documents meet established requirements.
  • Facilitate timely processing of non-conforming components.
  • Collaborate with customers regarding quality trends, performance, and corrective actions.
  • Engage with customers for new product introductions to confirm critical requirements prior to launch.
  • Work closely with operations and engineering teams to optimize quality-related documentation and inspection protocols.
  • Participate in key regulatory, customer, and third-party audits.
  • Supervise Quality Technicians as necessary.
  • Monitor and report on quality assurance metrics for the facility.
  • Act as a point of contact for QA-related inquiries and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 2-4 years of applicable experience.
  • Preferred certification in quality control (e.g., RAC, Six-Sigma).
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a regulated environment, such as FDA or Health Canada.
  • Experience with successful standards organization registration in complex settings is preferred.
  • Project management and logistics industry experience is advantageous.
