Position Summary:

The Manufacturing Process Specialist will spearhead continuous enhancement initiatives for both new and existing production methodologies. This role is pivotal in driving efforts to elevate safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical guidance and support regarding equipment and manufacturing processes to production teams.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, leading troubleshooting efforts and initiating continuous improvement projects related to manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials.
  • Utilize methodologies such as Lean, 5S, and Six Sigma to address equipment and process challenges.
  • Oversee projects and manage corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
  • Coordinate process improvement trials and facilitate the technological transfer of new processes into production.
  • Implement quality enhancements for both new and existing manufacturing processes.
  • Generate and uphold process standards to ensure optimal manufacturing practices.
  • Identify innovative strategies to streamline operations and track improvements.
  • Support validation activities and assist in executing necessary protocols.
  • Develop and verify Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions for new or revised products and processes.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO standards and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience: 4-8 years in manufacturing or process engineering within a high-speed production environment, with a focus on process control and continuous improvement.

Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to safety as a core value.
