Position: Quality Technician I

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician I to become part of our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our products adhere to rigorous quality standards. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, performing tests, and measuring finished goods and materials, while also identifying and resolving any quality-related concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance

  • Perform visual and mechanical evaluations on components and materials
  • Document inspection findings and authorize finished products
  • Utilize various inspection instruments to verify quality
  • Maintain records for compliance and auditing
  • Conduct random sampling inspections
  • Participate in quality calibrations and internal assessments
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain quality benchmarks

Process Improvement

  • Apply lean manufacturing methodologies to enhance efficiency
  • Assist in identifying root causes of quality issues
  • Contribute to the development of process work instructions

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience in inspection
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards is advantageous
  • Certification as a Quality Technician or Inspector is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access
  • Skilled in using mechanical inspection tools
