Position: Healthcare Support Specialist
Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 8-hour shifts

Role Overview:

The Healthcare Support Specialist is responsible for providing essential patient care and executing specific tasks under the guidance of a licensed medical professional, adhering to established protocols and standards.

This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of patients and their families. Key duties include:

  • Clinical responsibilities
  • Environmental management
  • Administrative tasks in designated areas
Qualifications:

Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Other Requirements:
Completion of a Medical Assistant program (Required)

Experience:
Minimum of 1 year as an Outpatient/Ambulatory Medical Assistant (Preferred)

Licenses/Certifications:
CCMA - Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (Required) or CMA - Certified Medical Assistant (Required) or RMA - Registered Medical Assistant (Required)
BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)

$24.00 per hour
Expected Hours:
40 hours per week
Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday
  • Rotating weekends

Work Environment:
  • In-person

Experience Requirements:
  • Familiarity with EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Experience in taking vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification Requirements:
  • BLS Certification (Required)
  • Certified Medical Assistant (Required)

Commute Requirements:
  • Ability to commute to the designated work location (Required)
