Compensation Overview

The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $153,900. Compensation is determined by various factors including labor market conditions, education, work experience, and certifications.

Join Target Cybersecurity as a Lead Cybersecurity Incident Response Specialist within the Enterprise Incident Management (EIM) team.

Role Responsibilities

In this role, you will spearhead the response to critical cybersecurity incidents affecting the Target ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and communicating during high-severity security and privacy incidents.
  • Collaborating with various teams, including Incident Response, Cyber Threat Intelligence, and Data Loss Prevention, to tackle complex cybersecurity challenges.
  • Guiding response strategies and managing workflows to enhance Target's security posture.
  • Engaging with stakeholders across the organization to address regulatory and reputational concerns during security events.
  • Leading containment and remediation efforts, ensuring teams are aligned and informed throughout the incident response process.
  • Preparing the organization for future incidents by developing and conducting practice events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in Security Operations Centers or Cybersecurity Incident Response Teams.
  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., Security+, GCIA, GCIH, CISSP).
  • Experience with Incident Management systems.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
  • Preferred experience in leading crisis or security incidents.

Work Arrangement

This position offers a Hybrid/Flex work arrangement, requiring both onsite and virtual work based on the team's needs.
