Position Overview:

As a Technical Solutions Consultant at Dynatrace, you will play a pivotal role within the sales organization, delivering exceptional technical assistance to the sales team.

You will serve as the authority on Dynatrace and all aspects of Advanced Observability.

In this dynamic position, your responsibilities will include executing impactful demonstrations that showcase Dynatrace's distinctive approach to addressing customer challenges, managing and executing Proof of Concepts (PoCs) both onsite and remotely, fostering essential relationships with Dynatrace's clientele, and completing Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

You will collaborate with various teams, including Dynatrace's innovation labs, Expert Services consultants, Customer Success Managers (CSMs), and marketing.

Candidate Profile:

To thrive as a Technical Solutions Consultant at Dynatrace, you should be an ambitious, confident, and self-driven individual, possessing prior experience in a Solutions Engineering role or a similar technical customer-facing position.

A passion for cutting-edge technology, technical sales, and articulating value to clients and prospects is essential.

We are also seeking:
- A collaborative team player capable of working across diverse disciplines.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical value into business benefits.
- 3 to 5 years of experience with observability or application performance management technologies and methodologies.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting technical challenges to achieve effective outcomes and manage this process.

- The ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, collaborate with various sales personnel, and support fellow Solutions Engineers as needed.

A strong desire for professional growth, adaptability to a constantly evolving environment, and a coachable attitude are crucial.
Travel may be required up to 30% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

- Advocate for Dynatrace's product offerings at international trade shows and significant customer meetings to drive new and expanded business opportunities.

- Collaborate with sales representatives to identify new sales prospects as well as additional sales opportunities within existing accounts.

- Participate in the creation of proof of concepts (PoCs) and engage in cloud architecture discussions, leading the technical solution evaluation segment in support of sales opportunities, either directly or through channel partners for multiple PoCs.

- Present Dynatrace's vision to C-suite executives of our customers.
- Provide technical expertise during the Discovery, Solution Evaluation, and Solution Proposal phases of the sales cycle.
- Deliver on-stage demonstrations that provide insight and context to our customers during key marketing events.

- Ensure that key demonstrations are executed by you or a team member at demonstration booths during Dynatrace-sponsored industry events or partner-sponsored events.

- Collect, qualify, and relay customer feedback to Product Management to enhance Dynatrace's market presence and meet market demands.

- Develop best practices and share knowledge within the team to continuously improve both personal and team capabilities.

- Collaborate with local Sales and Sales Engineering leadership to identify learning and development opportunities for yourself and the local team to maintain Dynatrace's leadership position in the industry.

- Create and adapt Dynatrace template presentations to meet the specific needs of each customer.

- Work not only with the internal sales team but also with partners, serving as a technical point of contact and trusted advisor/technical coach.

The position may be filled at a higher level based on the candidate's experience.
