Lead Cybersecurity Product Strategist

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop solutions that empower client organizations to manage, control, and enforce security protocols on SaaS Identity Products.
  • Perform market analysis to uncover opportunities for security products and understand customer requirements.
  • Conduct regular assessments of security controls, identify vulnerabilities, and strategize remediation plans.
  • Analyze logs to proactively identify security weaknesses and formulate corrective actions.
  • Review and optimize policies within Third-party Security Solutions (e.g., AWS WAF, Shield, Lexus Nexus - Threat Matrix, Shape, etc.).
  • Conduct market studies and provide recommendations on security offerings from leading industry products.
  • Create and maintain product roadmaps, define product functionalities, and prioritize engineering development initiatives.
  • Responsible for formulating solutions and go-to-market strategies for a designated product portfolio.
  • Oversee product launches and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure successful product introductions.
  • Balance immediate and long-term objectives, making data-informed decisions regarding feature inclusion based on customer needs and market dynamics.
  • Establish and report on metrics that reflect the ongoing status of the product security lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with communication teams to provide insights on communications and responses to inquiries from external parties.
  • Foster strong working relationships with various functions, including Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Regulatory, and other related departments.
  • Ensure that products maintain or exceed their security posture compared to competitors.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Strong grasp of Product Security, Cybersecurity, Security Assessment, and Remediation.
  • Experience in Application Security, production log analysis, and proactive identification of security gaps (Product/Configuration).
  • Background in Consumer Identity and Access Management (CIAM), particularly in Identity Management.
  • Familiarity with identity threat modeling (OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 20) and identity threat vectors such as account takeovers and credential stuffing.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Product Management lifecycle.
  • Ability to think creatively and from an end-to-end perspective.
  • Commitment to going above and beyond to ensure thoroughness in fulfilling commitments.
  • Educational background in Engineering or Technology from reputable institutions.
