Trihydro Corporation is on the lookout for a dedicated civil engineer to join our team in either Austin or New Braunfels, TX. This position is integral to our Infrastructure and Natural Resources Business Unit, where you will contribute to delivering effective, responsive, and safe solutions for clients across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

As part of our team, your role will involve:

  • Assisting in the development of solutions for water agencies, municipalities, and private clients focused on civil infrastructure and water resource enhancements.
  • Improving infrastructure systems, including water, sanitary sewer, transportation, and stormwater.
  • Conducting technical research and performing design calculations.
  • Drafting figures and preparing construction plan sets.
  • Engaging in design modeling and preparing technical memorandums and reports.
  • Estimating costs and preparing permit applications.
  • Collecting field data, performing site inspections, and conducting construction observation and reporting.

  • You have 0+ years of engineering design experience and are eager to build your technical skills.
  • You have an interest in civil infrastructure, water and wastewater systems, and water resources.

  • You are an engineer-in-training (E.I.T. or F.E.) or plan to obtain your E.I.T. or F.E. within 6 months.
  • You are an early-career professional engineer (P.E.) or can obtain your P.E. in a timely manner.
  • You have experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D or similar CADD programs (not mandatory, but beneficial).
  • You possess strong technical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality deliverables.
  • You are willing to travel to client locations and other Trihydro offices.
  • You understand the significance of time management and have excellent organizational skills.
