POSITION OVERVIEW
In the capacity of Human Resources Coordinator, you will report directly to the General Manager and provide essential support across various human resources and financial functions. This generalist role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities throughout the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, engagement, and employee relations. Additionally, you will assist with finance-related tasks such as payroll processing and financial reporting.
Your daily activities will involve collaborating with team members to facilitate the smooth operation of human resources processes. You will utilize various systems, including Outlook and other operational platforms, to manage tasks effectively. You will receive guidance and mentorship from the General Manager and Finance Director, as well as the Regional HR Director.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist hiring managers in their recruitment and talent acquisition efforts.
- Ensure compliance with administrative procedures during the hiring process.
- Facilitate the onboarding and orientation process for new employees.
- Support the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives and events.
- Assist with finance-related duties, including payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting.
- Maintain a general understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employee benefits, providing guidance to colleagues as needed.
- Manage record-keeping and filing systems.
- Provide clerical support to team members, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Assist in people management processes, including absence management and performance meetings.
- Deliver training to employees as required.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying information effectively to others.
- Highly organized and efficient, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects.
