Event Sales Director

Mexican Sugar is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Event Sales Manager to join our team. As an Event Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing our event sales program, driving revenue growth, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Sales and Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute quarterly sales plans to meet revenue targets
- Analyze sales data to identify opportunities and track growth
- Proactively share sales challenges and recommended plans with leadership team
- Client Relationships and Communication
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, concierges, meeting planners, and industry professionals
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure smooth event execution
- Negotiate prices and help clients with menu selection
- Event Execution and Coordination
- Manage and coordinate event activities, services, and client specifications
- Ensure seamless execution of full restaurant buyouts
- Team Management and Development
- Manage and mentor Sales Associates and Admin team members
- Provide oversight and guidance to ensure team success
- Minimum 2 years inbound/field sales experience required
- Special consideration to those with sales experience in restaurant catering or private dining
- Multi-unit sales experience preferred
- Proven ability to create and maintain strong client relationships
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Highly self-motivated and ability to achieve success while working autonomously
- Excellent time management and organizational skills required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to adapt and adjust planned work through analyzing work demands, competing priorities, and tight deadlines
