Position Overview:


As a Sales Manager/Private Event Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving sales through proactive outreach to targeted businesses, organizations, associations, and event planning for groups of 15 or more.
  • Documenting all prospects, contacts, accounts, and booking details in the CRM (Tripleseat) and entering basic reservation information in Open Table for larger parties.
  • Maintaining weekly updates on current leads through Tripleseat and converting those leads into confirmed bookings.
  • Serving as the primary liaison for all group clients, ensuring that event details are finalized and client satisfaction is achieved.
  • Overseeing the booking process to secure client signatures on CRM-generated contracts and event order forms.
  • Developing quarterly sales strategies and nurturing new customer relationships while sustaining existing ones.
  • Engaging in full-cycle sales management, adhering to proper accounting practices.
  • Understanding business dynamics and providing forecasts for three months ahead.
  • Participating in all company-related training sessions, including weekly, quarterly, and annual meetings.

Collaboration with Management:

Work closely with the General Manager and restaurant team to:

  • Source, plan, and implement local marketing initiatives.
  • Create profitable bookings utilizing yield management and other tools for informed business decisions.
  • Enhance overall traffic to the restaurant.

Attend networking events and public engagements as a brand ambassador, fostering relationships with individuals and corporations to boost sales and revenue.

Uphold company values of integrity, professionalism, and exceptional service by interacting with guests in a courteous manner, being punctual for appointments, and promptly returning communications.

Effectively schedule and conduct guest site tours while collaborating with the restaurant management team.

Availability to host in-store marketing events and engage in Live Chat sessions as required.

Be present at the home restaurant a minimum of 5 days a week and fulfill all duties and responsibilities in a timely manner.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the General Manager, Assistant Director, and Director of Sales.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of sales or relevant experience is necessary, with experience in the restaurant or attraction industry being advantageous. Up to 10% travel may be required.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in administrative tasks, including paperwork management, accounting procedures, and organization. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and various office applications is essential. Experience with Tripleseat and Open Table is preferred.

Full-time team members are eligible for Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance after 60 days of employment. Additional benefits include company-paid Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability where permitted, along with a comprehensive voluntary benefits package.
