Radiology Technologist

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team as a Quality Assurance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of radiographic images and developing and implementing quality review processes to meet federal and state regulations, accreditation requirements, and certification standards.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality review processes to ensure consistency with federal and state regulations, accreditation requirements, and certification standards.
- Quality Audits: Perform quality audits and reviews to monitor imaging processes and ensure compliance with quality performance standards.
- Quality Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance quality and efficiency in radiographic imaging.
- Training and Education: Educate technologists on performing to established standards and provide guidance on quality imaging practices.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, regulatory requirements, and professional standards of practice.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with radiologists, technologists, medical staff, and other personnel to ensure seamless collaboration and high-quality patient care.
- Experience: Minimum three (3) years of experience in general and/or specialty radiology.
- Education: High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
- Licenses and Certifications: Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License (Oregon) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (Washington) required.
- Skills: Thorough knowledge and understanding of radiographic techniques, procedures, and technology; contemporary skills to complete and perform the duties of a Radiologic technologist; and ability to anticipate and respond to potential problems related to maintaining QA program.
