Patient Care Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Hanger Clinic. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, fellow employees, and referral sources through the coordination and administration of front office activities.
- Accurately obtain and verify patient information, insurance information, and pre-authorization details while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient files, ensuring compliance with Hanger Clinic's policies and procedures.
- Ensure the privacy and security of protected health information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with patient follow-up and quality assurance initiatives to ensure patient satisfaction with our services.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Minimum of one year customer service, administrative, or related experience required.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to key 30 words per minute with accuracy.
- Ability to work with handicapped individuals and maintain a patient-centered approach.
