About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our team at Mass., Inc. as a Veteran Care Coordinator. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical leadership skills, a passion for delivering high-quality patient care, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of nursing practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Manage Nursing Teams: Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff, ensuring that patient care is delivered in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
  • Develop and Implement Care Plans: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor and Evaluate Patient Care: Conduct regular assessments of patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Provide Education and Training: Develop and deliver educational programs for nursing staff, ensuring that they have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure that patient care is coordinated and comprehensive.
Requirements
  • Current RN License: Must possess a current and active license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Experience in Long-Term Care: Must have at least two years of experience working in a long-term care setting, with a minimum of one year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong Clinical Leadership Skills: Must possess excellent clinical leadership skills, including the ability to lead and manage nursing teams, develop and implement care plans, and monitor and evaluate patient care.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
