Position Overview:

The Certified Hemodialysis Patient Care Technician (CCHT) plays a vital role in delivering exceptional care to individuals affected by End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD).

As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring patients throughout the dialysis process, including pre-treatment, during treatment, and post-treatment.
  • Measuring and documenting vital statistics.
  • Initiating cannulation and observing patient conditions.
  • Setting up and managing hemodialysis machines.

Our Patient Care Technicians combine technical expertise with a heartfelt commitment to fostering meaningful relationships with patients, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.


Qualifications:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A genuine desire to care for individuals and comfort in working with blood and needles is essential.
  • Experienced PCTs must possess current certification from BONENT, NNCC, or NNCO, or other state-approved certifications as applicable.
  • PCTs without prior experience are required to obtain certification within 18 months of employment.
  • Experienced PCTs must hold current BLS/CPR certification.
  • PCTs lacking experience must secure BLS/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
