YOUR ROLE:
In this position, you will:
  • Assist clients in selecting materials and addressing product inquiries.
  • Stay informed about new and existing product offerings.
  • Manage order placements and updates for clients.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls professionally.
  • Process payments through checks and credit cards.
  • Coordinate local and out-of-state deliveries.
  • Resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Maintain an organized sample inventory.
  • Label and arrange samples as necessary.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
  • Load and unload materials for various transport vehicles.
  • Safely operate a forklift.
  • Accurately pick materials as per requirements.
  • Read and modify load sheets as needed.
  • Participate in annual inventory counts.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor and positive attitude.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service.
  • A high school diploma (GED accepted); undergraduate education preferred.
  • Experience with multiline phone systems is advantageous.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Prior experience in the industry is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Physical capability to bend, lift, or kneel as required.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer and mathematical proficiency.
  • A collaborative spirit to work effectively within a team.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Forklift experience is preferred, but training will be provided.
  • Ability to lift over 40 lbs.
