Logistics Management Specialist

Are you a detail-oriented professional with an interest in logistics and vendor management? CampusPoint, a well-established food wholesale company in Seattle, is seeking a Logistics Management Specialist to join their team. This role involves a mix of hands-on work in the warehouse and office-based responsibilities, supporting operations by ensuring smooth inventory management, vendor communication, and data maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistical Operations

  • Assist with receiving, stocking, and managing inventory.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, including matching UPS tracking with received goods.

Vendor Relations and Data Management

  • Set up and maintain vendor accounts, ensuring timely order processing and delivery.
  • Handle order management, data entry, and inventory system updates.
  • Review financial data related to vendor invoicing, including reconciliation and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintain consistent communication with vendors to address any logistical or product issues.
  • Customer Service: Provide top-notch service by responding to phone calls, emails, and other communications promptly and professionally.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with vendors and internal teams.
  • Experience in logistics, wholesale industry, warehouse operations, and customer service/administrative work is preferred.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of financial systems and database entry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Physical ability to lift and manage stock in a warehouse setting.
