Position Overview: Front Office Receptionist
Absolutely Able Home Care is seeking a dedicated front office receptionist to enhance our operations. While prior experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement. This role provides over 35 hours of work weekly, accompanied by a range of benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming phone inquiries
- Facilitate patient check-in and check-out processes
- Organize and adjust patient appointments
- Manage patient balance collections
- Oversee fax and email communications
Candidate Requirements:

About Absolutely Able Home Care:
Our Front Office Specialist/Scheduler is integral to the seamless functioning of our multi-physician and multi-practice operations.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Additional Duties:
- Coordinate patient appointments and provide essential information
- Confirm appointments to minimize no-show occurrences
- Collect co-payments and uphold fee schedules
- Verify insurance authorizations and manage fax communications
- Engage with insurance providers for necessary authorizations and referrals
- Handle a high volume of incoming calls
- Accurately input patient information
- Assist with provider credentialing and basic bookkeeping tasks
