About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Alliance Manager to join our team at Cox Communications. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving our cloud strategy and building strong partnerships with AWS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive field strategy to drive co-sell and partner-influenced bookings with AWS.
  • Identify and engage with key AWS teams to land the Rapidscale brand and drive sales.
  • Manage AWS's funding programs for our sellers, ensuring maximum incentives for our customers.
  • Collaborate with our alliance marketing team to facilitate field marketing events, align digital campaigns with AWS's focus areas, and provide input on sales plays and promotions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Rapidscale's product/service mix, key accounts, case studies, and sales strategies.
  • Support Rapidscale sellers in executing the alliance GTM strategy in SMB West and Startup nationally.
  • Foster sales alignment between AWS sellers, sales agents, and specialty teams.
  • Evangelize and educate AWS field teams on Rapidscale capabilities through outreach and training.
  • Support field marketing in demand generation and execution of local and virtual events.
  • Maintain a rhythm of the business with AWS's partner sales team and sales leadership, communicating pipeline, notable wins, product updates, and results.
  • Oversee strategic partner programs and support Rapidscale sales team on sales opportunities.
  • Stay informed on local market dynamics, competitive landscape, opportunities, and challenges, providing structured feedback and data-driven recommendations to executive management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 6 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated ability to understand sales, marketing, and product dynamics, thinking strategically about how to focus each to exploit opportunities and overcome challenges.
  • Solid sales/marketing/business development background to effectively engage with diverse audiences of partner field teams.
  • Well-versed on core public cloud computing principles, with an understanding of security and industry compliance requirements affecting customer adoption.
What We Offer

Cox Communications offers a competitive salary range of $139,700.00 - $208,700.00 per year, plus an annual incentive/commission target of $30,000.00. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health care insurance, retirement planning, and paid days off.
