Account Executive

Myriad Women's Health is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will play a critical role in selling our portfolio of molecular genetic tests to obstetricians, gynecologists, and other healthcare providers in your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:- Sell the value of our molecular diagnostic tests and interpretation to healthcare providers
- Provide in-service training to office staff
- Work with local phlebotomy providers to streamline specimen acquisition
- Deliver local talks and arrange peer-to-peer programs to groups interested in learning more
- Coordinate with local health plans relevant to these practices
- Meet expense budget and administrative requirements
- Utilize Territory Planning Tools for strategy and planning, including target accounts, frequency of calls, etc.
- Update Salesforce (CRM) to track targeting, frequency, messaging, and strategic/tactical information
- Attend regional meetings and Women's Health conferences as planned
- BS/BA degree required, ideally in a related field of study
- 3+ years of experience in the healthcare selling arena of women's health bio-pharma, molecular, and/or blood test diagnostics or capital equipment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Documented successful track record in sales, with a history of being a top-level performer in prior roles
- Proven ability to manage increasing responsibility and sustain growth
- In-depth product knowledge and knowledge of disease states in the current field of expertise
- Ability to travel and do overnights as needed
- Models the consultative sales approach, recognized by others for excellent selling and presentation skills
- Effective at overcoming obstacles and challenges using problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of coverage and reimbursement issues
- Working knowledge and application of HIPAA laws, privacy, and ethics surrounding patient privacy and information
- Demonstrates values and ethics that support Myriad's mission, goals, and professional code of conduct
- Ability to resist pressure to compromise corporate values despite pressure to make sales
- Uses discretion and professionalism when handling patient and physician information and documentation
- Track record of demonstrating integrity, even when inconvenient
- Must be flexible, innovative, and self-motivated
- Systems and Software - proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and CRM, preferably Salesforce
- Ability to travel and do overnights as needed
- Valid driver's license and driving record that meets safe and satisfactory criteria per Myriad's motor vehicle driving record policy
