Position Overview:

DebtBlue is in search of a meticulous and skilled Business Intelligence Specialist with extensive expertise in data engineering, Power BI, and artificial intelligence (AI). The ideal candidate will possess a strong history of interpreting intricate data sets, crafting insightful reports, and applying AI solutions to enhance business intelligence and inform decision-making processes. The Business Intelligence Specialist will collaborate with various teams to collect data, create analytical models, and present insights to bolster strategic objectives. We are not currently sponsoring an H1-B Visa, F1 OPT, or C2C.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Insights:

  • Gather, cleanse, and scrutinize extensive datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to formulate hypotheses and deliver data-driven recommendations.
  • Design and maintain dashboards and reports utilizing Power BI to visualize data and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
Data Engineering and Management:
  • Partner with teams to architect and execute data pipelines, ensuring data precision and reliability.
  • Develop and sustain data models, databases, and data integration solutions.
  • Enhance data storage and retrieval processes for effective data access and analysis.
AI and Machine Learning:
  • Utilize AI and machine learning methodologies to analyze data and create predictive models.
  • Implement and deploy machine learning algorithms to address business challenges and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in AI and integrate new techniques into existing workflows.
Business Intelligence:
  • Engage with stakeholders to comprehend business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses and generate reports to address specific business inquiries.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and marketing, to understand data requirements and provide solutions.
  • Articulate findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Educate and support team members in data analysis and Power BI usage.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in data science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or in a similar capacity.
  • Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of AI and machine learning techniques and frameworks.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
  • Certifications in data analysis, Power BI, or AI.
