Position Summary:
The Property Leasing Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing tenant retention and occupancy rates while ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction. This position is pivotal in creating a positive first impression for potential tenants and maintaining strong relationships with current residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome potential tenants and assess their needs through effective questioning and engagement.
  • Prepare and organize move-in documentation and lease agreements.
  • Accurately log all inquiries and visits, maintaining organized records.
  • Conduct inspections of model units and ensure all properties are ready for viewing.
  • Guide prospects through the application process and secure necessary deposits in compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain up-to-date availability reports and facilitate the application approval process.
  • Assist in tracking lease renewals and follow up on renewal notifications.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and gather competitive market intelligence.
  • Represent Valiant Enterprises LLC professionally at all times.
  • Process rental payments and ensure timely submission to the accounting team.
  • Prepare lease agreements and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Support the management team with various administrative tasks as needed.
  • Adhere to community policies and procedures consistently.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
  • Previous experience in customer service or sales is preferred.
  • Fair Housing Certification or willingness to obtain prior to engaging with prospective tenants.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
  • Positive demeanor and the ability to maintain professionalism in all situations.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training to stay compliant with industry regulations.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant customer service experience.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor throughout the workday.
  • Ability to effectively address and resolve customer concerns.

Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to navigate the property in various weather conditions.
  • Must be able to climb stairs to showcase properties.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. as necessary.
