Position Overview

The Senior Operations Executive plays a pivotal role in managing operations while directly engaging with clients on various aspects such as operational needs, financial oversight, schedule management, estimates, and task adjustments as stipulated by contractual agreements.

Key Responsibilities

In collaboration with the Program Manager, this role is responsible for:

  • Tracking and documenting client projects.
  • Reviewing discrepancies in work outputs.
  • Supervising contractor personnel.
  • Communicating the organization's policies, objectives, and goals to team members.

The ideal candidate must navigate the entire acquisition lifecycle, from opportunity capture to service delivery, ensuring all teams meet requirements promptly and to the expected standards.

Program Management Support

This position involves:

  • Developing and maintaining integrated master schedules.
  • Creating and submitting program-related documentation.
  • Preparing and delivering briefings.
  • Providing comprehensive support for conferences and meetings.
  • Preparing strategic briefings and metrics as required by stakeholders.

Additionally, the role requires the creation of scope documents based on approved charters and project plans, tracking key milestones, and adjusting project plans, budget requests, and resources to align with client needs.

Project Oversight

The Senior Operations Executive will:

  • Support all facets of IT services project development and implementation.
  • Travel to various locations to inspect and assist field service teams.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations to resolve IT-related issues, executing client-directed recommendations.

This role serves as the primary customer contact, acting as the Program Manager's direct representative for project execution related to IT services within a complex network environment.

Accountability

Overall responsibility includes ensuring the delivery of all work products and services, encompassing technical artifacts, reports, presentations, and briefings to clients. The position also involves:

  • Overseeing project statuses and budgets.
  • Managing schedules and preparing status reports.
  • Monitoring project issues and developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 7-10 years of relevant project management experience across the entire project lifecycle.
  • Experience leading diverse teams across multiple regions.
  • Experience with Army organizations.
  • Industry experience in information technology or engineering.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools, particularly Excel and Project.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Field services experience.
  • Experience leading multiple teams across extended distances.
Special Requirements

Top Secret Clearance is required, with a minimum travel requirement of 25% or as necessary.
