About the Role: Westchester Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Service Manager to join our team. As a Patient Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and services, ensuring a positive experience for patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient flow, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.\
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and staff.\
  • Provide translation services for non-English speaking patients and families.\
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, verifying patient information, and updating records.\
  • Perform cash handling duties, reconciling cash drawers daily.\
  • Train and educate patient service representatives to improve performance and skill levels.\
  • Maintain a professional appearance and a clean, safe environment.\
  • Respect patient rights, maintaining confidentiality.\
  • Utilize technology to maximize productivity.\
  • Develop and maintain electronic files as necessary.\
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, providing customer service, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.\

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of customer service and/or medical office experience required.\
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree from an accredited institution preferred.\
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates preferred but not required.\
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).\

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
