**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Westchester Medical Center. In this role, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and contribute to creating a positive and supportive environment for patients and families.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide basic physical care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming patients
* Assist patients with daily activities, such as eating, sleeping, and using the bathroom
* Observe and record patients' general condition, including any changes or concerns
* Notify the Registered Nurse of any significant changes or issues

**Requirements:** To be successful in this role, you will need good knowledge of accepted standards of caring for and comforting the sick, disabled, injured, or others requiring mental health or personal assistance. You should also have skill in customer service as it relates to the delivery of care, as well as the ability to observe and describe facts and events accurately. Additionally, you should be able to maintain good interpersonal relationships with patients, co-workers, and other members of the healthcare team. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and some prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not necessary.

**Compensation:** The salary for this position is estimated to be around $48,000 - $58,000 per year, based on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
